    • RE: How Can I Import My Existing Database into Dynobird ?

Hi @rafaxoingo , I’m glad to hear that you’re finding Dynobird useful! Yes, you can certainly import designs from existing databases. Dynobird supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server. Here’s how you can do it:

Click on ‘File’ located in the menu bar.
From the dropdown, click ‘New Project’.
Change the ‘Project Type’ dropdown from ‘Blank Project’ to ‘Import from Existing Database’.
Fill out the ‘Project Name’, ‘Database Target’, and ‘Database Version’ fields.
After filling out the project details, click ‘Next’.
Paste your ‘CREATE TABLE’ script into the provided text area.
Click ‘Evaluate’. Wait a few seconds, and the result of your design will be displayed.
Once your design is displayed, don’t forget to submit it to save your work.
This feature should help save you time and effort in your database design process.

    • RE: Troubleshooting Zoom Functionality

That’s great to hear, @rafavschneider ! I’m glad the context menu method worked for you. We’ll look into the issue with the home bar zoom icon. In the meantime, you can also use keyboard shortcuts for zooming. ‘Command+Scroll Up’ to Zoom In and ‘Command+Scroll Down’ to Zoom Out on a Mac, or ‘Ctrl+Scroll Up’ for Zoom In and ‘Ctrl+Scroll Down’ for Zoom Out on Windows. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

    • RE: Troubleshooting Zoom Functionality

Thanks for providing that information, @rafaxoingo . It sounds like there might be a small glitch. Can you try a different method to adjust the zoom level to see if the issue persists? You could try right-clicking on the design canvas to bring up the context menu and then select ‘Zoom In’ or ‘Zoom Out’.

    • RE: Customize the look of my tables

Hello, I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying Dynobird! Customizing your tables is a fantastic way to improve your database design process. You can change the color of your table headers, either individually or in bulk.

For bulk changes, select the table you want to customize and click on the color palette located in the Home menu tab. This will reveal a list of colors. Click on your desired color, and the header color of all your selected tables will change immediately.

For individual changes, open the table detail of the table you want to customize. Hover over the downward arrow to reveal more actions and select ‘Table Color’ from the dropdown menu. This will display a list of colors. Click on your desired color, and the header color of the selected table will change instantly.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

    • RE: Not receive email invitation

Hello! I’m sorry to hear your teammate is facing this issue. One possibility could be that the invitation email ended up in their spam or junk folder, so they should check there. If it’s not there, you could try re-entering their email address and resend the invitation again in member management like this screen. If the issue persists, it might be a good idea to confirm that the email address you have for them is correct. Let me know how it goes!
